Apparently I am super allergic to juniper trees. I thought I was getting a cold earlier this week, but now I'm pretty sure I just have horrible, terrible, never-ending allergies. If you've ever been to Socorro, you know that there isn't a lot of vegetation around unless you are right next to the Rio Grande. What little vegetation there is basically consists of small bushes and juniper trees. Well, the junipers are pollinating and it couldn't be happening at a worse time. I rode my motorcycle to school this morning (like most mornings) and I'm almost certain that I inhaled every pollen spore within the city limits.
I'm trying to do a big assignment for the Devil's class [Satan = John Wilson]. I sat down at my desk and began to blow my nose. I then proceeded to blow, and blow, and blow some more. I quickly popped some antihistamines, but to no avail. Finally, around lunch my body ran out of mucus so the blowing at least slowed down a little. So now the large garbage can by my desk is full of used tissue and my nose knows what a car must feel like when it gets sanded down for a paint job. What a nightmare.
Other than that, things are going well. Juli's folks were in town on their snow-birding expedition for the last while. They helped around the apartment a lot and Rod hung some plants out on our porch. Hopefully they wont freeze to death in the next couple weeks. Juli is doing hair and nails at a little girl's birthday party tomorrow to make some extra dough. In the evening we'll be at a department bonfire in San Lorenzo Canyon (a really cool recreation area close to town). Should be a good Saturday... that is, if the junipers don't kill me first.

Oh my word, I hope you find a solution to the juniper problem cause it sounds terrible! We miss you both endlessly.
Yikes! I hope you find something to help with your allergies! Sounds like you guys need a break! Good luck to Juli with the hair and nails- sounds like a fun way to make some extra money!
