New Mexico

In the past I would have started this post with an apology for not posting in eons and a resolution to do better. I guess I'm past that, since we all know I will probably be sporadic at best in my blogging indefinitely.

Juli and I are having fun and working hard in New Mexico right now. The food here is really tasty. New Mexicans figured out the secret to making all food taste wonderful... put red and green chile on it. MMMMM!!! I think that secret is something that we are going to tuck away in the 'do not forget' file. We are also having the most amazing thunderstorms lately. We both woke up the night before last in the middle of the night to a lightning flash somewhere near our home. I opened my eyes as the window was illuminated with light. Just then a thunder bolt shook the whole house. It was nuts.

School is going good so far. It has been a lot of work getting started, but I think I'm getting the routine down. I'm doing lots of crazy math and computer stuff and reading tons. Juli is doing great in cosmetology school. She is the one all the other people go to with questions. We are both making friends at school and getting to know some interesting characters.
