First Class Relief

I feel like a million stinkin' bucks right now. Today at 3 PM I formally sent in my graduate school applications. Finally the stress of writing letters of intent, asking for and collecting letters of recommendation, taking standardized tests and waiting for results, and filling out endless paperwork has come to an end. Now I can get back to my present class load and spend time with my favorite person. I wont hear back for a few months because of all the funding decisions that have to be made but that dosen't matter because I've done my part (with Juli's help of course).

Despite taking Physics, Engineering Math, Applied Geophysics, and Photography (my last general ed) I am having a fun semester. Juli and I went swimming the other night and I've gotten to drive my truck around a lot which makes me happy. For those of you who don't know, I am the proud owner of a 1982 Toyata SR5 three-tone dream machine. The thing would literally be totaled if a tire popped. Juli is taking classes and having fun playing basketball this semester. I still let her beat me once in a while in horse.

Here's a quote from one of my favorite religious books: Mindfulness in Plain English, "May my adversaries be well, happy, and peaceful. May no harm come to them, may no pain come to them. May they always meet with success."
